Arshdeep Singh Praises Captain Shubman Gill
India pacer Arshdeep Singh commended his captain, Shubman Gill, for giving the bowlers the freedom to execute their plans.
Despite defending a low total of 131 against Australia in the first ODI in Perth, Arshdeep appreciated Gill's leadership, saying:
Gill gave us freedom to execute our plans.
India suffered a seven-wicket defeat in a rain-hit encounter, with Australia captain Mitchell Marsh remaining unbeaten on 46.
Arshdeep, who bowled five overs, returned with figures of 1-31, being the only pacer to clinch a scalp for India.
