Headway Devon, a local charity based in Exeter, specializes in helping individuals rehabilitate from head injuries.
Often, people with brain injuries are discharged home to a family network without wider support, leaving them feeling alone after months of hospitalization and rehabilitation.
You've spent months in hospital, in ICU, in rehabilitation with a team of clinicians around you and suddenly you're all alone.
This new partnership with Thompsons Solicitors, MAPS Benevolent Trust, and the Players of the Postcode Lottery enables Headway Devon to provide support to those in need, including those who may be navigating a legal fight for compensation.
With this support, Headway Devon can now reach individuals in the hospital, expanding their services beyond their current work with around 100 people per week.
