Pan Pacific Open 2025: Rybakina Secures WTA Finals Spot
Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan has secured a spot in the WTA Finals by reaching the semifinals of the Pan Pacific Open.
Rybakina, the former Wimbledon champion and number two seed in Tokyo, defeated Canada's Victoria Mboko in the quarterfinals.
She will face sixth seed Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic in the semifinals on Saturday.
Rybakina's successful run also includes winning the Ningbo Open in China last week.
