Nikola Jokic's Triple-Double Not Enough for Nuggets
Nikola Jokic started the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season with a triple-double, but the Denver Nuggets fell to the Golden State Warriors, 137-131, in overtime.
The Serbian superstar scored 21 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished out ten assists, but was held to 2/13 from beyond the arc. He added one steal and one block, playing nearly 41 minutes.
He missed an opportunity to seal a win at the end of regulation, before the Warriors dominated the extra period to jump to 2-0.
Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 42 points, including seven in overtime, and hit a game-tying three-pointer late in the fourth quarter.
