Naira Gains Against Dollar
The Nigerian currency, the naira, appreciated further against the American dollar at the official window on Friday.
According to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data, the naira closed at N1,457.95/$1, gaining N2.54 against the dollar compared to the previous day's rate of N1,460.49/$1.
- The naira gained N5 against the dollar to trade at N1,495/$1.
- It lost N5 against the British Pound to trade at N2,020/£1.
- The naira closed flat against the Canadian dollar to trade at N1,200/CA$1.
- It lost N10 against the Euro to trade at ₦1,730/€1.
The naira appreciated further against the American dollar at the official window on Friday.
