The ad, which the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute claimed misrepresented Reagan's words, was actually an edited version of a national radio address delivered by Reagan on April 25, 1987.
Reagan spent a five-minute speech railing against tariffs, expressing full-throated support for free and fair trade.
