Young Bradford Boxing Talent Wins English Title
Bradford's Harris Hashim has won a gold medal at the England Boxing National Development Championships, earning the 60 to 63kg title.
Hashim fought his way through every regional champion without any byes or step-asides, defeating top boxers from Yorkshire, the North West, and the East Midlands.
In the final, he took on Theo Jones-Lambert from Centurions Amateur Boxing Club in Colchester, securing a gold medal victory via unanimous decision.
This achievement has brought immense pride to both Bradford and his gym, Aztec Boxing Club on Fairbank Road.
Hashim's victory has set his sights on the 2028 Olympics.
