Review: Bruce Springsteen Biopic

The film "Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere" offers a unique perspective on the musician's life, focusing on a single year as he writes the album "Nebraska".

Bruce Springsteen, known as The Boss, rose to fame in the 1970s with his lively personality and heartland rock genre. His album "The River" (1980) was a huge success, combining musicality with poetic lyrics about working-class issues.

Instead, the film provides an intimate look at just over one year of the musician’s life as he writes the left-turn folk album “Nebraska”.

After the "The River" tour ended, Springsteen returned home to New Jersey, renting a house in Colts Neck, where his life took a pause.

Author's summary: Biopic delivers authentic look at Springsteen's life.
