Three people have been arrested after police found a firearm and two knives in a car on the A44.
In the early hours of October 12, the Cotswold Neighbouring Policing team were on a routine patrol near Stow-on-the-Wold when they observed a vehicle behaving unusually.
The vehicle came to a sudden stop and activated its hazard lights, prompting concerns that it had broken down. Upon investigation, officers noticed an air rifle in the passenger footwell and found two knives after conducting a search.
The driver claimed they and the two passengers were out attempting to shoot pheasants.
