Elisabeth Braw, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, notes that informing companies of potential threats and how to prepare is becoming increasingly important in today's geopolitical climate.
Seven years ago, Sweden made headlines with its "In Case of Crisis or War" leaflet, sent to all households in the country. This initiative has since inspired a trend across Europe.
Sweden is now taking the lead once more, this time with a preparedness leaflet specifically designed for businesses. As Braw states,
informing companies about threats that could harm them, and how they can prepare, makes perfect sensein today's geopolitical reality.
The concept of preparedness leaflets began in 2018, when the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) sent the "In Case of Crisis or War" leaflet to every home in the country.
Author's summary: Sweden leads in crisis preparedness.
