Amazon Plans to Cut Corporate Jobs
Amazon reportedly plans to cut around 30,000 corporate jobs, starting on Tuesday.
The job cuts will affect various sectors, including human resources, devices and services, and operations.
This would be the largest job reduction at the company since 2023, exceeding the 27,000 jobs cut in late 2022.
Amazon CEO Andy Jassy stated that fewer corporate jobs will be needed as Amazon continues to implement more AI agents.
Amazon hasn’t commented on the matter yet.
