Hackers Disrupt Russia’s Food System
Russia’s food safety watchdog, Rosselkhoznadzor, has been affected by a cyberattack, impacting shipments of meat, milk, and baby food nationwide.
A large DDoS attack on October 22, 2025, briefly took the Mercury platform offline, a system used to approve animal product shipments, causing several hours of outage and forcing companies to halt deliveries.
