Discovery of Two Bodies in North Clare House
Gardaí are investigating the discovery of two bodies at a residential property in Doolin, Co. Clare.
The remains of an elderly man and woman were found in a house near Doolin late Saturday night. Gardaí, along with units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Ennistymon station, attended the scene.
- The bodies of the deceased were discovered inside the property.
- A Garda spokesperson confirmed the discovery of the bodies of a man and woman at the residential property.
"The results of the post mortem will determine the course of the investigation."
The bodies of the man, aged in his 80s, and the female, aged in her 90s, have been removed from the scene and taken to the mortuary in University Hospital Limerick where post-mortem examinations will take place.
