Investigation into Discovery of Two Bodies in North Clare House

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of two bodies at a residential property in Doolin, County Clare.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed that the bodies of an elderly man and woman were found in a house near Doolin late on Saturday night, October 11th, 2025.

The bodies, of a man in his 80s and a woman in her 90s, have been removed from the scene and taken to the mortuary in University Hospital Limerick for post-mortem examinations.

"The results of the post mortem will determine the course of the investigation."

Gardaí and units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Ennistymon station attended the scene.
