A judge has ruled that Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk, will be allowed to wear street clothes during his trial, but must be physically restrained.

According to Judge Tony Graf's decision, made during a virtual court hearing on Monday, 22-year-old Robinson will be permitted to wear street clothes in court.

Charlie Kirk, a right-wing political activist, was assassinated during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University in September. Robinson surrendered to police after a 33-hour manhunt.

Prosecutors have charged Robinson with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and committing a violent offense in the presence of a child. Utah County attorney Jeff Gray stated that they will seek the death penalty in this case.
