The government has announced a €100 million fund to accelerate Malta’s adoption of artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
This major push aims to modernise both the public and private sectors, with the fund supporting businesses developing or implementing AI systems, as well as training schemes to build digital and AI skills across the workforce.
Addressing Parliament on Monday, Finance Minister Clyde Caruana said the initiative aims to strengthen Malta’s technological competitiveness and promote wider use of automation and data-driven tools.
