Political science professor David Edward Tabachnick states that the findings against North Bay's mayor are serious and unlikely to be forgotten soon.
Professor Tabachnick, also Editor-in-Chief of The Canadian Journal of Political Philosophy, notes that Mayor Peter Chirico has acted in an "unethical manner" by breaching parts of the Integrity Act.
It seems fairly clear that in some specific instances, the mayor has breached parts of ethics or the Integrity Act for politicians.
