Hong Kong police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide after an elderly man and his wife were found dead at two nearby buildings in Tsing Yi.
A 82-year-old man was found injured near a multi-storey car park at Cheung Hang Estate and was later confirmed dead at the scene. Investigators suspected that he had fallen from the fifth floor of the building.
Police contacted the man's daughter and found out that he lived in a flat in Wang Sum House in the adjacent Cheung Wang Estate. Officers later discovered an unconscious woman, 56, who was subsequently pronounced dead, inside the flat.
She was believed to have been attacked with a
blunt object.
