‘Child Clothing Project’ to provide free clothing, STEM activities for underserved children in Okaloosa and Walton counties

The Junior League of the Emerald Coast's annual Child Clothing Project will provide free clothing, shoes, and STEM activities to elementary students in Okaloosa and Walton counties on November 4-5.

In partnership with the HSU Educational Foundation, hundreds of underserved children will receive new wardrobes and participate in hands-on learning activities focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

Child Clothing Project was started in 1979 with 36 children and has grown and evolved tremendously over the years to become one of the most respected public outreach programs in the area.

According to Bethe Manning, president of the Junior League of the Emerald Coast, the program is more than just providing essential clothing items.
