Alex Eala Exits Hong Kong Open
Alex Eala and Victoria Mboko faced off in the round of 16 at the Hong Kong Open, with both players showing signs of exhaustion.
Mboko secured a come-from-behind victory, winning 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in a match that lasted 2 hours and 28 minutes.
Eala initially took control of the third set, leading 4-1, but Mboko managed to tie the score at 4-4 and ultimately asserted her dominance.
Mboko, ranked 21st in the world and third in the tournament, dug deep to claw out of the hole and win.
