Connacht Rugby Junior 1B League saw Westport dominate Ballyhaunis, running in five tries and limiting the visitors to only one score.
A dominant second half ensured the 'Bulls' got off to a flying start. Centre Harry Sheridan was almost unstoppable, earning him the man-of-the-match title, thanks to a masterpiece of a try in the first half.
Sheridan ran a perfect line and galloped through the Ballyhaunis defensive line, then danced around the last defenders to touch down between the posts.
Westport clearly won the kicking game, with fly-half Stephen Loftus booting the ball deep into the opposition every time he spotted space. Ballyhaunis had high hopes for a better outcome, having impressed so far this season, reaching the Curley Cup final and winning their first league match.
