Portlaoise Wins Laois LGFA Senior County Championship

Portlaoise has been crowned the Laois LGFA Senior county champion for the fourth time in six years, defeating St Conleth's by eight points in the final.

The team is under new management, led by father-and-son duo Kevin and Ryan O'Grady, who took charge in 2025.

Kevin O'Grady expressed his pride in guiding the team to victory, stating:

It's fantastic, it's tremendous to say we managed them to it. All the work with these girls has been done over the last 10-15 years in the club.

O'Grady praised the team's passion and love for their club, citing it as a key factor in their success.
