First Sighting of All-White Iberian Lynx in Spain
A 'mythical' all-white Iberian lynx, also known as a leucistic Iberian lynx, has been spotted for the first time in Spain.
The rare animal was seen in Jaén, Spain by photographer Angel Hidalgo on October 22nd.
This beautiful big cat looks like a mythical creature, resembling a real-life Pokémon.
Although this is the first recorded sighting in Spain, there have been legends of all-white Iberian lynx in Europe for centuries.
The region where the lynx was spotted is known for producing some of Europe's finest olive oil.
