Sean “Diddy” Combs has begun his 50-month sentence at Fort Dix, leaving behind Brooklyn's MDC jail.
According to prison records and law-enforcement sources, Combs arrived at the federal prison in New Jersey on Thursday to serve his sentence for federal prostitution-and-transportation convictions.
Combs requested the move to Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix (FCI Fort Dix) to participate in its Residential Drug Abuse Program and be closer to family.
Combs is scheduled to remain at Fort Dix until May 8, 2028, according to the Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
Combs led inmate classes during his stay at Brooklyn’s MDC jail.
