Granby Memorial High School has selected Madeleine Ayotte and Zainab Zafar as the 2025-26 student representatives to the board of selectmen.
They are well-rounded students who are enthusiastic about reporting on school events and are not hesitant to ask questions or offer opinions.
Madeleine is a junior and new to the board this year. She was motivated to apply for the position by her friends, who urged her to be a voice for their concerns.
In school, Madeleine enjoys her science courses, including AP environmental science, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology. She is considering a career in sports medicine, combining her loves of sports and science.
