Temple Women’s Basketball is preparing for the 2025-26 season with a revamped roster and a tough nonconference schedule, aiming to make another push for the American Conference Championship game.
Temple head coach Diane Richardson is determined to change the team's fate after losing to Rice head coach Lindsay Edmonds in consecutive seasons in the American Conference Tournament semifinals.
The Owls have won 20 games in the last two seasons, a feat they had not achieved since 2014-17, but were eliminated by a lower-seeded Rice team each time.
The team's returners, including guards Tristen Taylor and Kaylah Turner, and forward Jaleesa Molina, will headline the Owls' roster as they attempt to end their semifinal shortcomings.
"The Owls hopes to end that narrative this year and believes it has the pieces to do so."
