The Royal Canadian Legion's national poppy campaign is underway, running from October 31 to November 11, to support veterans and their families.
The campaign, which adopted the poppy as a symbol in 1921, commemorates the service and sacrifices of fallen soldiers, inspired by
John McCrae's poem "In Flanders Fields".
Donations collected during the campaign are held in trust at each branch, supporting Canada's veterans and their families.
