Intertek Opens Footwear Testing Center in Bentonville
Intertek, a global quality assurance and testing firm, has opened a Footwear Center of Excellence in Bentonville, AR, the headquarters of Walmart.
The new facility adds to 23 consumer products sites in the US and will provide a suite of footwear testing capabilities, aiming to "bring quality assurance closer to U.S. operations, improving efficiency, reducing lead times, and ensuring quality, safety and sustainability across every stage of the product lifecycle," according to Intertek.

An opening event was hosted, attended by Intertek leadership and industry stakeholders, including Michael McCranie, representing the City of Bentonville, and Brandom Gengelbach, president and CEO of the Bentonville Chamber of Commerce.
