The British Retail Consortium (BRC), representing members with £350bn in annual sales, has declined to participate in the UK Farm Assurance Review due to being "too busy".
The poor old supermarket lobbyists are simply too busy to participate.
This decision has been revealed in the latest update on the review's implementation, first published in January 2025.
