An active police presence is currently on scene of a house in Northeast Missouri.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, SWAT officers entered the residence around 4:50 p.m. and found the main suspect, 57-year-old Charles Armour, dead.
Armour had been a person of interest in a homicide investigation earlier in the day, and had fired at officers when they entered the residence, shooting a Randolph County deputy.
The deputy was taken to a hospital for emergency medical treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The Ralls County homicide investigation and officer-involved shooting are under investigation.
