A leading governance watchdog has called on Parliament to reopen the investigation into the botched K750 million fertilizer deal.
The National Anti-Corruption Alliance (NACA) expressed concern that the inquiry, suspended by the previous Parliament, may be quietly buried, leaving taxpayers without answers or justice.
The deal was linked to a dubious foreign supplier and the loss of hundreds of millions of kwacha meant for affordable fertilizer under the Affordable Inputs Programme (AIP).
