Hero Train Crew Member Identified
Samir Zitouni, also known as Sam, was working on the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) train from Doncaster to London when a mass stabbing occurred in Cambridgeshire on Saturday.
According to his employer, the 48-year-old customer experience host "did not hesitate as he stepped forward to protect those around him" and has been credited with helping to save multiple lives.

British Transport Police reported that an LNER worker remains in hospital in a stable condition but critically unwell. Samir Zitouni's family described him as a hero.
