Nearly 100,000 tools have been recalled, including the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Top Handle Chainsaw, which was sold at Home Depot locations.
According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recall affects approximately 90,860 units in the U.S. and an additional 7,500 in Canada.
The chainsaw's chain brake may not activate, posing a risk of injury, as noted by the CPSC.
Consumers are advised to stop using the chainsaw immediately and contact Milwaukee Tool for a free repair.
