World Premiere of 'The Witch of November' at Abbey Theater of Dublin
The Abbey Theater of Dublin presents the world premiere of 'The Witch of November', a play by Vidas Barzdukas, marking the 50th anniversary of the Edmund Fitzgerald's tragic sinking.
Tickets are available for $25 per person at AbbeyTheaterofDublin.com for shows on November 7, 8, 14, and 15 at 7 p.m.
The play is based on the true story of the Edmund Fitzgerald, an American Great Lakes freighter that sank on November 10, 1975, in Lake Superior, resulting in the deaths of all 29 crew members.
The story follows Captain Ernest McSorley as he and his crew sail to their ultimate demise, with Captain McSorley reliving key moments of his life and observing the consequences of his career.

The play is a powerful tribute to the crew of the Edmund Fitzgerald and a reflection on the consequences of their tragic fate.
