John Ferretti Defeats Joseph Scianablo in Hempstead Supervisor Race
Ten supervisor seats were up for grabs across Long Island, along with council positions and a mayoral post.
Incumbent Town of Hempstead Supervisor John Ferretti declared victory over Democratic candidate Joseph Scianablo at Nassau GOP headquarters.

said Nassau Republican Committee Chairman Joseph G. at Nassau County GOP election headquarters.
- In North Hempstead, Supervisor Jennifer DeSena declared victory.
- In Oyster Bay, Supervisor Joseph Saladino was reelected.
Nassau Republicans retained all three supervisor seats in the county.
