Longest-Serving Presidents in Africa
Recently, the Constitutional Council in Cameroon declared Paul Biya as the winner of the October 12 presidential election, securing 53.66% of the total vote cast.
With this declaration, 92-year-old Paul Biya has become the world's oldest serving president.
The title for the longest-serving president in Africa goes to Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea, who also holds the record as the world's longest-serving president globally.
