In October, Tallinn Airport served 348,215 passengers, marking its second-busiest month ever. This month also became the busiest of 2025 so far, with two months still remaining in the year. The figure is close to the all-time record of 350,209 passengers set in August 2024.
Passenger numbers grew by 2.8% compared to October last year. The autumn school holiday contributed significantly to this increase, traditionally one of the airport's peak travel periods.
"The autumn school holiday brought a large number of passengers back to the airport and is traditionally one of the busiest times of the year," said Eero Pärgmäe, member of Tallinn Airport's Management Board.
In October, the airport offered scheduled flights to 34 destinations. The most popular route was to Antalya, Turkey, served by both charter and regular flights, carrying more than 50,000 passengers round-trip.
Newly added destinations included Krakow, Poland (flights by Wizz Air) and Funchal, Madeira (flights by airBaltic).
The top airlines by passenger numbers were airBaltic, Ryanair, Lufthansa, and SAS, together covering over half of the airport's market.
