Call to Reintroduce Anti-LGBTQ Bill
Samuel Abu Jinapor, Member of Parliament for Damongo, urges the Majority to reintroduce the original Anti-LGBTQ Bill without amendments.
Let them bring the bill as it was passed by the 8th Parliament in the same form and shape.
Abu Jinapor's appeal comes after the Speaker suggested the Majority may amend certain provisions before re-tabling the bill, a move he opposes. The bill, formally known as the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, underwent extensive national consultations and received unanimous approval from the previous Parliament.
